Dear friends,
It is my great pleasure to announce that the Rev. Curtis J. Coppersmith (known as Reverend CJ or Father CJ) will be Trinity’s new Assistant Rector. Some of you may know and remember CJ as he is a Concord neighbor, who served here at Trinity as an Intern in 2020-2021 during his process to ordination.
CJ was ordained to the priesthood in January 2023, and has been serving as curate for the past year at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Newburyport.
I know CJ to be a deeply faithful person with a wonderful pastoral presence in all that he does. We look forward to getting to know him as priest, teacher, liturgist, preacher, theologian, neighbor and friend.
CJ’s first Sunday at Trinity will be September 17, our Homecoming Sunday. Please join me in welcoming him back home to Trinity!
Forward together in faith,
Nancy+
A Word from Fr. C J
Dear People of Trinity Church,
I am humbled, yet honored and excited to serve as your Priest! I am deeply grateful for this opportunity; and please note that the important words in my last sentence are SERVE and YOURS. You are a vibrant and a beloved congregation. I look forward to this new season of ministry alongside you all, with Reverend Nancy and the rest of the staff in the service and praise of God.
All Peace,
CJ+
This photo of Fr. CJ and his family was taken in front of the Cathedral last June when he was ordained to the diaconate. Such happy smiles for a blessed and happy day.
