Easter Joy

Updated: Aug 15, 2023

Dear Friends in Christ,

"Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia! The strife is o'er the battle done,

the victory of life is won."

Blessings for Easter. As we approach the Good News of Resurrection, we offer several ways to connect with this life giving news.

1) An icon of the empty tomb to ponder and pray with as you meditate on Luke's Easter proclamation. ("Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen." Luke 24: 5-6.

2) A video of Episcopal Presiding Bishop Curry's inspiring Easter Message which includes the gathered Episcopal Church Choir's 2020 "The Strife is O'er"

3) Three opportunities to be together for Easter at Trinity: 7 pm Saturday for the Easter Vigil, 8 am and 10 am in the Main Church on Sunday morning. The Vigil and the 10 am will be live-streamed. See you there!

We pray that your heart, mind, and spirit will know Easter joy this year as together we proclaim "Christ is Risen! The Lord is Risen Indeed!"

Easter blessings to all,

Nancy+ and Christopher+

“Easter is the celebration of the victory of God,” Episcopal Church Presiding Bishop and Primate Michael B. Curry said in his Easter 2022 message. “The earth, like an egg, has been cracked open, and Jesus has been raised alive and new, and love is victorious.”
