Sisters and brothers in Christ,
If there is one thing that is true in our lives it is that change is always happening. As Christians, we have the promise from God that the death or end of one thing is the opening up of new life in a new way. This reality of change happens in our individual lives, in our communal life as a church, and in the world. Hellos and goodbyes are inevitable as part of our human existence. We rejoice when God calls our friends and colleagues to new challenges, new ways to use their gifts of ministry and service!
Today, I want to let you know that our Director of Communications and Operations, Jon Ashley, will be leaving us on Aug. 12 to accept a new position. Jon's work over the past 18 months has been critical as Trinity navigated the challenges and changes required to do our ministry together in the midst of the pandemic. His patience, creativity, and technological skills were offered generously over the course of this strange season. We are deeply grateful to have had Jon walking with us for this time. If you wish to join me and the staff in thanking Jon and wishing him well on his next adventure, please send your note to Trinity Church, 81 Elm St. Concord MA 01742 and note "For Jon Ashley" on the envelope.
